About the role

We are offering a permanent part-time position for a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) Coordinator to join our team at the Bunbury Family Relationship Centre. This leadership role involves providing clinical oversight and professional support to a team of accredited FDR practitioners, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, client-centred Family Dispute Resolution services in accordance with legislative requirements, ethical guidelines, and organisational policies.

More specifically, the position involves:

· Conducting clinical work including Pre-FDR assessments and joint sessions of FDR

· Providing mentorship, training, and induction for new FDRPs

· Oversight and review of clinical procedures and practice standards

· Managing practitioner workloads and supporting reflective practice

· Reviewing and approving Parenting Agreements, Financial Agreements, and related documentation

· Responding to complex client interactions and complaints in line with governance policies

· Maintaining a clinical caseload and co-mediating complex matters

· Collaborating with leadership teams on service development and stakeholder engagement

· Contributing to recruitment, onboarding, and Graduate Diploma student placements

· Promoting a positive culture of continuous improvement and modelling organisational values

The current vacancy is 30 hours per week, based at our Bunbury office.

Skills, experience, and qualifications

The following criteria are essential to this position:

  • Current accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with a minimum of three years' experience
  • Strong knowledge of family law sector issues, Family Court processes, and FDRP regulatory frameworks
  • Demonstrated leadership and coordination experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including cultural awareness and cross-cultural communication
  • Ability to manage complex client interactions and high-stress situations
  • Accurate and efficient record keeping, reporting, and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and client database systems
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • WA Police Force National Police Certificate (obtain upon request)
  • A valid driver's licence and ability to travel to program locations as required
