  • Full time permanent. Monday to Friday
  • Occasional saturday's when cover required.

Clinic hours are:

Monday-Friday 7.30-5:30pm

Hello We are looking for a full-time dental assistant with reception experience to be a dedicated team member for our newly opened dental practice.

We warmly invite you to join our team to provide exceptional patient care. You will be in a chair side, hands on role with our valued patients. You will have an understanding of how to prepare for all general dental procedures, high standards in infection control and an ability to managing stock. We are a friendly female led clinic, so we are looking for a team player.

Reception experience will be highly regarded.

Our Practice

Our practice is located in the heart of Leichhardt on the corner of Norton Street and Macauley Street.  We also have a practice in the city, but this is our home away from home in the "burbs". We have 4 clinician owners and a full female team. We perform a full range of general dental services including orthodontics, surgical extractions and implant placement. Treating all age groups from kids to the elderly.

We are a team-based practice and we like our clients Our goal is to have everyone at an optimal level of health that we maintain through effective communication and appropriate clinical measures. Education and effective clinical interventions are key for this practice.

Our wonderful modern practice is located 10 minutes walk from the light rail and 10 minutes from Petersham Station. There is even a bus stop right outside There is no onsite parking (like everywhere in the InnerWest) but there is free parking 2 blocks away.

Applicants ideally would have:

  • at least5 years' experience as a Dental Nurse
  • experience as a Dental receptionist is favored
  • high level of experience in chair-side assisting and dental procedure preparation
  • excellent communication skills
  • confident in adhering to strict sterilization protocols
  • ability to multi-task
  • full understanding of infection control
