About the role

The Part Time Finance Support role provides a wide range of financial and administrative support relating to financial matters and assists the Admin team as required

Position Specifications:

  • Review and process timesheets – Synergy (or equivalent project management software)
  • Process transactions in MYOB and do daily credit card / bank reconciliation
  • Prepare weekly payables and Personal Expense claims
  • Process costs in Synergy
  • Monthly revenue / cashflow forecast and update in Synergy
  • Prepare monthly billing report and prepare invoicing
  • Debtors' collections
  • Prepare reports for monthly Management Meeting
  • Monitor and correct project registration and provide weekly summary
  • Perform all monthly accounting journals including payroll
  • Making suggestions for improvements to existing work flows/practices
  • Other duties as may be required by the Management team
  • Finance and project filing

Key Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Educated to a minimum Year 12/HSC equivalent and must have worked in a finance role before
  • Experience with MYOB and Synergy a plus
  • Flexible, helpful & professional approach to work
  • Sound planning skills with the ability to organize a heavy workload of multiple activities at any time
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal & written
  • Self-motivated, pro-active, confident, energetic, & creative
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Publisher
  • Fast learner with the ability to acquire & apply knowledge
