About Us:

The Quadrant Cafe, West Lindfield is a local favorite, known for our specialty coffee, fresh ingredients, and vibrant breakfast and lunch menu. We are looking for a passionate and creative Cook/ Chef to join our team, someone who loves crafting delicious breakfast and lunch dishes while bringing energy and enthusiasm to the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast and lunch dishes with consistency and flair.
  • Collaborate on menu development, bringing fresh ideas for seasonal specials.
  • Ensure food presentation is visually appealing and up to café standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety regulations.
  • Manage stock levels, place orders, and minimize waste.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while supporting a positive team culture.

What We're Looking For:

  • Passion for cooking, particularly breakfast and lunch dishes.
  • Experience as a chef or cook in a café or restaurant setting.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for new menu ideas.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
