Job description:

The Opportunity:As our business continues to grow, Survey Management Solutions is seeking a skilled Monitoring Surveyor join our team in Adelaide. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive, forward-thinking company working on a wide range of exciting projects.

Any given day may see you…

  • Monitoring Setup & Calibration - Establish new monitoring points and complete baseline measurements
  • Monitoring Observations - Complete settlement observations throughout the project - Using Digital Level
  • Monitoring Observations - Complete traverses and observations for monitoring prisms - Using Total Station
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation - Process field observations and submit daily data reports
  • Collaboration with Project Team - Work closely with the project team to stay ahead of project requirements
  • Technology & Equipment Management - Operate and maintain advanced survey equipment, ensuring all tools and devices are in good working condition and compliant with relevant standards
  • Compliance & Safety - Ensure all work procedures comply with project/state requirements

Here's what we are looking for…

A person with survey experience that is wanting to become part of a new and developing team in emerging markets.

They must:

  • Hold relevant qualifications in either Survey, Spatial Science and/or Geometrics.
  • Experience with Total Stations, GPS Equipment, Digital Levelling and Survey Computation Software
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding or exposure to Civil Engineering or Construction
  • Understanding of survey monitoring procedures
  • Sound knowledge in Workplace Health and Safety practices
  • Team oriented but also self-motivated
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality outcomes
