About the Role

We are seeking an Senior Project Engineer with experience in Technical Sales to drive business growth through the development of new and existing client relationships. You will be responsible for:


• Ensure all activities are in accordance with relevant environmental legislation, particularly those impacting repair and manufacturing processes for Pumps and Valves.


• Establish practices, tools, and partnerships to expand and enhance the capabilities of the Pumps and Valves group, with a focus on improving efficiency and innovation.


• Identify, pursue, and secure new sales opportunities in industrial sectors including [oil & gas, water, power generation, mining.


• Conduct technical assessments, propose suitable Pump and Valve solutions based on application, specifications, and customer needs.


• Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and quotations that meet both technical and commercial requirements.


• Build strong relationships with engineers, procurement managers, and decision-makers to influence buying decisions.


• Lead projects from order receipt through to delivery, installation, and commissioning, ensuring on time and on-budget execution.


• Liaise with internal engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and service teams to coordinate resources and ensure project milestones are met.


• Manage scope, schedules, and budgets, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as required.


• Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring expectations are met and concerns are addressed.

What You Bring:

Formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Industry experience in engineering, mechanical trades, or industrial operations

Proven record of accomplishment of managing projects in sectors such as mining, water, energy, or oil & gas.

Strong knowledge of centrifugal, positive displacement and specialty pump technologies.
