About the School
Capella State School is a coeducational school located in the rural township of Capella, 300 kilometres west of Rockhampton, offering Prep to Year 7 students personalised learning in a supportive and inclusive environment. Surrounded by shaded grounds and a blend of traditional and modern facilities, the school provides access to technology-rich classrooms, covered play areas, and dedicated sporting spaces. With a strong focus on academic achievement, sporting excellence and student wellbeing, Capella fosters confident, capable learners supported by committed teachers and an active parent community. Your Responsibilities
As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Uphold the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
