Clarke Diesel has been operating in the FNQ Region for the past 36 years and has developed mechanical and auto-electrical specialisations in the service and repair of defence, marine, commercial & passenger applications.  Our company is ISO certified for Quality and Safety and invests regularly in the training and development of our staff to not only enhance the service delivery and performance of our team, but to deliver an outstanding product to our clients.

About the role

We are currently seeking a hands-on, highly-motivated tradesman with previous experience in marine and commercial applications.  Our ideal candidate would be;

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • A team-player who assists others to contribute to team success
  • A problem-solver with excellent attention to detail and effective decision making skills
  • Able to manage own time in line with assigned tasks

Skills and experience

The successful applicant should have;

  • At least 2 years trades experience (highly regarded)
  • Own tools (essential)
  • Driver's Class C Licence (essential)
  • Driver's HR Licence (ideal but not essential)
