Contal Services is seeking a mid-level Java Software Engineer to join our small but bright Brisbane team as we prepare to expand and market several software developments in a range of industries including travel, hospitality and aged care.

If you have…

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field;
  • Strong English communication skills to understand and contribute to complex business discussions;
  • In-depth knowledge of Java 8+ technologies, frameworks and standards;
  • Experience in building RESTful APIs (experience with Springboot is desirable);
  • Solid knowledge of ORM like Hibernate or JPA;
  • Unix experience;
  • SQL database skills and ability to write complex queries...

We enjoy an enthusiastic, collaborative environment, and use an Apache foundation, Asterisk, and RedHat Linux to name a few. We work on Macs, though no problem if you haven't before, as long as you're happy to learn.

We're looking for someone who's enthusiastic, proactive, and interested in jumping onboard with us now to contribute to our current projects as well as stick around to have a hand in our future innovations.
