OOSH Centre Offering Temporary 12 Month

Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia Hamilton South Before and After School Care Centre Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Our before and after school care centre is offering a temporary part time role to cover a 12 month maternity leave period.

We are looking for someone who has had previous experience in a leadership role within an OOSH setting.

Duties:
- Running activities (indoor and outdoor)
- Supervising and engaging with school aged children (5-13Yrs)
- Helping to do the daily cleaning jobs

- Assisting the centre's Educational Leader as required

Essential:
- Must have a current NSW Working With Children's Check
- National Police Criminal History Check

- Completed full child protection training

Desired:
- First Aid for a Childcare Centre

The successful applicant will be provided with further Professional Development as required.

You will be paid above the Award Wage for Children's Services (depending on experience and knowledge).

This position will commence on Tuesday 17 June 2025. You will be required to work 12.5 hours per week across the following days and times:

Tuesday – 1pm to 6pm

Wednesday – 2.45 to 5.15pm

Thursday – 1pm to 6pm

There is also the opportunity to cover other staff who may be away or undertaking professional development.
