Job Title: Assistant OOSH Coordinator

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to support the leadership and daily operations of our Out of School Hours Care service.

We are an independent Preschool to Year 12 co-educational school providing globally innovative and future-focused education to Hunter Valley families.

Our college focuses on developing the whole child, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually, within a caring, Christian environment. Essential Criteria:

  • Diploma or degree qualification in Early Childhood (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA).
  • Previous experience in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training, team leadership, and management of staff.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of service's requirements of the Child Care Subsidy system and ability to perform software tasks.
  • Applicants will be willing to support the Christian life of the school.

Desirable:

  • 3 years' experience in a Nominated Supervisor position in an Out of School Hours Care/Vacation Care Service or minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership position in an Out of School Hours Care/Vacation Care Service.

The successful applicant will possess or be willing to obtain the following: HLTAID012 Provide First aid in an education and care setting & CPR certificate, NSW Working with Children Check and National Criminal History check.
