Casual Role Opportunity at Our Cattery

Position Overview

We are currently offering a casual role that is available based on operational demand. Please note that this role does not guarantee regular hours every week, and the need for assistance fluctuates depending on business needs.

Work Schedule

The successful candidate can expect to work between one and three shifts per week, depending on demand. Shifts are not always scheduled on the same days each week, so flexibility and weekend availability is essential. Shift may not be every week. Typical shift times are in the mornings, lasting three to four hours between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. On Sundays, the shift starts at 10:00 AM.

Ideal Candidates

This role has previously suited local active retirees who are looking to stay involved and engaged in the community, as well as hospitality workers seeking additional daytime shifts to supplement their income. While previous experience in a cattery or with animal handling is an advantage, it is not required. On-the-job training will be provided for all necessary tasks.

Key Responsibilities

· Cleaning litter trays

· Updating pen charts

· Cleaning animal pens

Additional duties may be assigned as required. All tasks will be fully explained and demonstrated during training.
