Paws Hotel is a luxury cat boarding service with locations in Altona and our brand-new Springvale facility. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, quiet, and comfortable environment for cats, with premium suites, 24/7 climate control, and attentive, loving care from our dedicated team.

The Role:

We are looking for a passionate and reliable team member to join our Springvale location. This role involves daily care of cats, maintaining a clean and stress-free environment, and providing excellent communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily care including feeding, grooming, and enrichment activities
  • Monitor cat health and behaviour, including managing unfriendly or anxious cats with patience and professionalism
  • Clean and maintain suites, play areas, and common spaces to the highest hygiene standards
  • Communicate clearly with clients via phone, email, and in person
  • Support smooth check-in/check-out processes for feline guests

Requirements:

  • Experience in handling cats, especially those who may be unfriendly, nervous, or require extra patience
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Must also speak Mandarin Chinese to assist with client communications
  • Previous experience in pet care, animal boarding, or veterinary assistance preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • A caring, calm, and professional attitude towards animals and people
