Are you passionate about Middle Eastern cuisine and ready to showcase your culinary skills in a vibrant cafe environment? We're seeking a talented Middle Eastern Cafe Chef to join our team and delight our customers with authentic flavours and innovative dishes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook traditional Middle Eastern dishes, including but not limited to hummus, falafel, kebabs, shawarma, and baklava.

  • Develop and execute new menu items while ensuring authenticity and quality.

  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with the management team to create seasonal menus and promotions.

  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to uphold standards of excellence.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and accommodating special requests or dietary restrictions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef specialising in Middle Eastern cuisine.

  • Deep understanding of Middle Eastern ingredients, flavours, and cooking techniques.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Food safety certification is preferred.

  • Creativity and passion for delivering memorable dining experiences.

  • Qualification - certificate 4 in commercial cookery and diploma of hospitality management
