Food Services Assistant

About the role

Exciting opportunity to join our dynamic food services team. Be a part of our diverse and interesting work group in a busy mid sized public hospital in Ringwood East.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• HLTFSE001 Basic Food Safety Level 1, essential
• Good understanding of safe allergen management and texture modified foods & drinks
• Experience working in a similar healthcare environment, desirable
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• A strong commitment to high quality care
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Available to work a variety of shifts including afternoons
• Must be available to work over December and January period including public holidays if required

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
