What you will be doing

Reporting directly to Senior Manager, Regulatory Services, this role will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team to deliver efficient and effective regulatory services in party registration, disclosures and public funding.
  • Managing end-to-end service delivery for assigned regulated entities, ensuring timely and high-quality interactions.
  • Overseeing and improving policies, procedures, and systems that support regulatory compliance and transparency.
  • Contributing to priority projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance planning across the FDR function
  • Building a high-performing, values-aligned team culture and supporting the development of staff.

What you will bring to the role

  • A deep understanding of regulatory systems, with the ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy in a public sector context.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the capability to coach, support and drive team performance.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to manage risk, solve problems, and improve service outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build constructive relationships with regulated entities and internal stakeholders.
  • Commitment to the VEC's core values.
