We currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) at our beautiful well-established Southern River centre.

About the Role

We are open to offering this position in one of two ways:

  • A combination role, where you will lead our vibrant Busy Bee Room (4–5 years) while also fulfilling ECT responsibilities across the service, or
  • A dedicated ECT role, where you focus solely on mentoring, program leadership, and curriculum across the centre.

As the Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and delivering an engaging educational program.
  • Leading and mentoring a small team of educators to establish a strong school-readiness program.
  • Creating a safe, inspiring, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Supporting educators to develop meaningful, child-led, play-based programs.
  • Observing and documenting children's milestones using Early Works.
  • Planning and evaluating developmentally appropriate programs inspired by Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Inquiry-Based Learning philosophies.

What You Need
  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
  • Applicants must currently reside in Perth, WA (we are not considering interstate applications at this time)
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Teachers Registration Board of WA.
  • Proven experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher
  • A valid WA Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID012) (or willingness to obtain)
  • Legal right to work in Australia.
