Role: Early Childhood Teacher

Position: Permanent Part Time (4-5 days a week)

Our Madeley Centre is a purpose-built service with 4 large indoor play spaces, leading out to beautiful Nature Play Based outdoor spaces, we are seeking committed educators to join the Kids Academy Family and grow with us. We appreciate hard work, enthusiasm, dedication, and creative minds

About the Role:

As the Teacher you will provide a high-quality Educational School-Readiness program through discussion and critical reflection with your Educational Leader, and Co-Educators.  You will be able to develop and foster relationships with families to contribute to the decision making of their child's learning and wellbeing.

You will:

  • Plan and implement high-quality, developmentally appropriate programs for children
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other educators in the centre
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and co-educators
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's development and progress
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children within the room.
  • Contribute to the Centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
  • Promote positive and collaborative culture and values of the organisation through open fair and transparent decision-making and ethical, professional behaviour.

About You:

  • Friendly, Reliable and a Team Player.
  • This position requires a relevant Australian Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching or equivalent. (ACECQA Approved)
  • Proven experience as a teacher in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with families and staff.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and Regulatory requirements.
  • Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, and relevant certifications.
