Human Resources Coordinator

Summary Statement
The Human Resource Coordinator will support the delivery of NMG's HR policies, programs, and practices. The Coordinator works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure HR services contribute effectively to a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce. This position will be based in Perth to ensure optimal time zone alignment with our Southern Hemisphere offices, including Sydney, Singapore, Malaysia, Johannesburg, and Cape Town. The position will carry dual reporting lines: to the Human Capital lead in Sydney and the Executive Head of Corporate Services in Johannesburg. This role offers a base salary in the range of AUD75,000-80,000, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities
Success in this role will see the following achieved:
- Provide HR coordination and advisory services to business units on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Maintain and update HR systems and employee records to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects across the organisation.
- Coordinate and support learning and development activities including training sessions and professional development planning.
- Participate in the review and continuous improvement of HR policies and processes.
- Support annual HR cycles such as remuneration reviews, performance appraisals, and engagement surveys.
- Assist with reporting and analytics on workforce metrics and trends.
Your Experience
The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar HR Coordinator or generalist role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, flexible approach with a commitment to supporting a collaborative team environment.
- Exposure to global HR practices or multinational company structures.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
