Want to play a part in the planning and creation of some of the largest expos in Australia? Caravan Industry Victoria run Australia's largest and longest running caravan, camping and adventure expos, including the Caravan & Camping Supershow at Melbourne Showgrounds – expanding over 190,000sqm As well as expos across metro & regional Victoria, traditional B2B trade expos, gala awards nights and membership events.

Due to continued growth and new shows added to the portfolio, we are seeking an Event Operations Assistant to help the event operations department with event the planning, build, compliance, warehouse management, logistics and construction of our events.

The Event Operations Assistant is responsible for planning and delivering operational aspects of all scheduled events, ensuring that each event is executed flawlessly. The ideal candidate will have a background in event operations / management / coordination, logistics or warehouse management, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A forklift qualification and experience is highly regarded. Must have the ability to work flexible hours including weekends during events across metro and regional Victoria.
