Majella Early Learning Centre
is a warm and welcoming 75-place service located on Maundrell Terrace, with convenient access to Gympie Road for families commuting to the CBD. Surrounded by peaceful bushland, our centre offers a serene environment where children are valued as individuals and supported to grow through strong, trusting relationships.

About The Opportunity
As our
Centre Director
, you'll bring your leadership skills, sector knowledge, and passion for early learning to guide and inspire a dedicated team. You will lead day-to-day operations, strengthen our high-quality programs, and create an environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

Our programs cater for children from 6 weeks to kindergarten, with a unique curriculum that celebrates cultural diversity, different languages, and rich learning experiences that spark curiosity and ignite a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the service, including staffing, administration, and financial management
  • Lead, mentor, and empower a team of passionate educators
  • Ensure the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, and engaging educational program
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for all children
  • Work collaboratively with families and your established team to support positive outcomes
  • Promote the service within the local community in alignment with Catholic Early EdCare's Vision, Mission, and Values

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience as a Centre Director or Centre Manager
  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent (ACECQA-approved)
  • Current Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, and Asthma/Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Strong understanding of early childhood legislation, including the NQF, NQS, EYLF, and QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
  • Confident computer skills, ideally with experience using Xplor
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
