Senior Duty Manager – Busy Inner West Pub

The Golden Barley Hotel is an independent Inner West pub with a huge dog-friendly garden, live music, award-winning dining, and a buzzing community vibe. We're looking for an experienced Senior Duty Manager to lead our front-of-house team across bar, bistro, and gaming.
The role
- Lead shifts and be the senior manager on duty, overseeing all areas of the venue during peak trading periods.
- Manage customer experience, team performance, and compliance requirements
- Handle opening/closing, cash control, and reconciliation
- Support training and development of junior managers and our wider team
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' management experience in a pub, bar or multi-department venue
- Strong knowledge of gaming, food, and beverage operations
- Confident handling of compliance (RSA, RCG, ARCG, Licence and Plan of Management)
- A hands-on leader with excellent communication and time management skills
What we offer
