Casual Optical Assistant

About us
Our casual position offers two to three days a week, Monday to Saturday, days are subject to change weekly. Successful candidates may have option to extend to part time or full time position. An interest in working with children for vision therapy would be ideal.
Qualifications & experience
- Optical assistant experience is ideal
- Any sales or retail experience is preferred
- No experience? No problem We'll provide training, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to learn new skills and gain experience working in a professional, customer-focused environment.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage front desk duties
- Assist patients in selecting glasses
- Answering phone calls and managing appointment bookings
- Admin duties throughout practice.
- Keeping practice presentable and tidy
- Punctuality and reliable work ethic
- Willingness to learn and undergo further training and development
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly & approachable attitude
