We're opening the doors to a brand-new, two-level venue on Fremantle's iconic Fishing Boat Harbour, and we're looking for a visionary Executive Chef to lead the culinary direction across two distinct kitchens:

  • Cherub Hall – the heartbeat of our brand, serving bold, beer-friendly fare that celebrates local produce and community spirit. 
  • The Loft by Little Creatures & Co – a refined, Asian-inspired experience built around a wood-fired grill, where fire meets finesse. 

This is a rare opportunity to shape two unique culinary identities in a venue designed to be a landmark destination for locals and visitors alike. 

About the Venue: 
Part of a $10 million transformation celebrating Little Creatures' 25th anniversary, the new Fremantle site at 42 Mews Road offers panoramic waterfront views, immersive dining experiences, and a vibrant atmosphere that blends Fremantle's coastal and industrial heritage.  

Your Role: 
As Executive Chef, you'll lead and mentor two kitchen teams, drive innovation and consistency, and collaborate with venue leadership to deliver unforgettable dining experiences across both levels. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee menus for Cherub Hall and The Loft, ensuring each reflects its unique concept and audience 
  • Lead, inspire, and manage two high-performing kitchen teams 
  • Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency across both venues 
  • Manage kitchen operations, budgets, and supplier relationships 
  • Champion food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards 
  • Collaborate with front-of-house and operations teams to ensure seamless service 

What You Bring: 

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Head Chef in multi-outlet or concept-driven venues 
  • Strong leadership and team development skills 
  • Deep understanding of modern Australian and Asian cuisine, with a flair for wood-fired cooking 
  • Passion for local ingredients, sustainability, and innovation 
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
