The Role
Working as part of our Audit team, the Senior IT Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our clients' IT environments. The role will perform comprehensive assessments of IT systems, evaluating the effectiveness of IT controls, and providing professional support to enhance audit processes. The role is key to identifying risks, automating audit procedures and ensuring compliance to industry standards.

As a Senior IT Auditor you will be responsible for:

  • Assessment of IT Environments: Perform thorough assessments of IT environments for external audit clients to identify potential risks and control weaknesses.
  • Evaluation of IT Controls: Evaluate IT controls for audit reliance purposes, ensuring they are effective and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Automation of Audit Processes: Leverage downtime to innovate and automate audit processes, helping to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Professional Support: Provide professional support to other teams when capacity allows, sharing expertise and knowledge to assist in overall organizational success.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with industry standards and contribute to the preparation of client deliverables.
  • Data-Driven Recommendations: Provide recommendations to the broader team on key areas of the audit that may be better addressed via data extraction or IT controls testing.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to staff on enhanced IT tools and skills, as well as the role of IT audit within the broader assurance landscape.

As Our New Team Member, You Will Have

  • 3-5 years proven experience in IT auditing, specifically in external audit environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in assessing and evaluating IT controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to automate audit processes and improve efficiencies.
  • Experience working collaboratively with different teams, offering support and guidance.
  • Proven efficiency initiatives, including recommendation of systems, software and IT based processes that may create audit efficiencies
