What You'll Be Doing
  • Contributing to maintaining safety compliance and a positive health and safety culture.
  • Collaborating with management and employees in the development, implementation and review of company safety documentation and procedures.
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory developments and best practices in safety management.
  • Engaging, influencing and educating others of the importance of workplace safety.
  • Identifying, implementing and overseeing control measures to address safety risks and hazards for individual projects.
  • Conducting regular site visits / preventative safety reviews.
  • Reporting and investigating workplace incidents, including assisting with return-to-work programs.
  • Coordinating monthly testing and tagging of electrical equipment.
What We're Looking For
  • A collaborative legend with strong leadership and organizational skills who has the ability to work as part of a team and / or individually. With a demonstrated commitment to safety management and risk assessment, who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Someone with a laser-sharp eye for detail, well-honed consultative skills including the ability to 'stand firm' when required, and the drive to multitask and meet tight deadlines without breaking a sweat.
  • A safety champion who puts wellbeing first, every time.

  • Seasoned pro? previous working experience in construction and it shows.
  • You come equipped with industry-ready qualifications — Safety Management, White Card, Silica, Asbestos Awareness, High Risk License, Working with Vulnerable People card etc
  • Broad knowledge and experience in a similar role.
  • You know your way around safety like a true craftsperson.
