Duggan + Della are working with a high-performing national firm seeking a Senior Associate to join its corporate and commercial practice in Canberra. The team advises a blend of private sector clients and organisations working closely with government, and the work includes transactions, strategic commercial arrangements, regulatory engagement and advisory support on complex projects.

You'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced partners on matters that are varied and commercially significant, while contributing to the development of junior lawyers in the broader team.

Key Aspects of the Role


• Advising on transactions and commercial structuring


• Drafting and negotiating core corporate and commercial documentation


• Coordinating due diligence and multi-disciplinary input


• Advising on regulatory and governance considerations in a national context


• Supporting development of junior team members

What We're Looking For


• 5+ years PQE in corporate or commercial law


• Strong drafting, communication and stakeholder management skills


• Ability to manage complex workstreams in a collaborative environment


• Experience advising on matters involving government stakeholders or regulated industries will be well regarded, but not essential
