At Penrhos, we believe learning is a bold adventure. We are seeking a passionate and safety-focused Science Laboratory Technician to join our Science Department from Term 1, 2026. This is a permanent, part-time (0.6 FTE) role, with an additional 0.4 FTE available in Semester 1, 2026.

Your Role in the Adventure:

EMBRACE – Provide technical support to teachers and students across Science subjects.

CREATE – Prepare experiments, maintain equipment, and ensure labs are ready for practical learning.

SOAR – Share your knowledge and demonstrate safe use of materials and equipment.

BLAZE – Ensure a safe, well-organised lab environment, including the disposal of hazardous materials.

IMPACT – Play a key role in supporting engaging, hands-on Science learning.

What You Bring:

• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (or relevant qualification)
• Ability to lead Chemistry and Physics practicals to ATAR level.
• Experience in an education environment
• Current Working with Children Check and National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain)
