About the Position

With a team of 25+ psychologists all at capacity and more referrals than we can keep up with we're excited to welcome another psychologist.

We're especially looking for someone with paediatric/child experience, skilled in both assessment and therapy in the early years. Experience in neurodevelopmental assessments, delivered through a neuroaffirmative lens, will make you a great fit.

While we see clients across the lifespan, this role has a strong paediatric focus. We're especially interested in a psychologist who is confident working with early childhood presentations and supporting parents and families through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with schools or other care providers.

This is a part-time (0.6) position and we're ready to work with you to shape a role that fits your experience, passions, and goals.

Essential Criteria

• Masters and/or Doctorate in a relevant field of psychology.

• Registration with AHPRA.

• Eligible for a Medicare Provider Number.

• Preference for working with early childhood, parents and families.

• Demonstrated understanding of neurodiversity.

• Demonstrated understanding/interest in assessments of cognitive ability, specific learning disorders, autism, and ADHD, including report writing through a neuroaffirming lens.

• Use of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness.

• Able to function autonomously.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Outstanding organisation and time management skills.

• Professional indemnity insurance.

Desirable

• Board-approved supervisor registered with AHPRA.
