Moonee Ponds, Victoria, Australia Solution Psychology PTY LTD Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Psychologist (Child & Adolescent) - Full or Part time

Moonee Ponds | Join one of Melbourne's leading psychology clinics

With over 25 psychologists at capacity and more referrals than we can keep up with, we're excited to welcome another experienced and passionate psychologist to our growing team at Solution Psychology.

We're particularly looking for someone who enjoys working with children and families — confident in both assessment and therapy across the early years, and experienced in neurodevelopmental assessments delivered through a neuroaffirming lens.

If you're a psychologist who thrives in a structured, high-performing environment but also values warmth, humour, and genuine human connection, you'll feel right at home here.

Why join Solution Psychology

At Solution, excellence isn't about being perfect — it's about progress, collaboration, and purpose. We're proud of the culture we've built: one where psychologists are supported to do their best work through structure, supervision, and systems that make life easier.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Comprehensive induction and mentoring during your first six months, led by our Head of Clinical Excellence.
  • Regular individual and group supervision (we have 9 board-approved supervisors onsite across both clinical and educational & developmental pathways).
  • Internal CPD program and personal PD budget, so your learning never stops.
  • Assessment and therapy development opportunities, including our structured autism assessment training pathway and competency framework.
  • Embedded Feedback Informed Treatment and outcome measures, supporting excellence in every session.
  • Leadership, program, and outreach opportunities for those wanting to grow their impact.
  • Quarterly planning days and an annual team retreat, because reflection and connection matter as much as results.
  • Industry-best systems and full administrative support, including paid AI, freeing you to focus on what you do best.
About the Role

While we see clients across the lifespan, this position has a strong paediatric focus. You'll work closely with families and schools to provide assessment, intervention, and collaborative care that makes a tangible difference in children's lives.

This is a part-time or full-time employed position, with flexibility to shape your caseload around your strengths and goals. Whether you're refining your niche or expanding your clinical skills, you'll be supported every step of the way.

About Our Clinic

Located in the heart of Moonee Ponds, our 600sqm purpose-built space was designed to make everyone — clients and clinicians alike — feel at ease.

Features include:

  • Sensory-friendly rooms with dimmable lighting
  • A spacious, spa-like welcome room and parents' lounge
  • Dedicated sensory space, testing and resource libraries
  • Separate staff zones for work, collaboration, and downtime
  • End-of-trip facilities and secure onsite parking

It's a workplace that looks as good as it feels — where design meets purpose.

Who We're Looking For

You'll be a great fit if you:

  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children and families
  • Are skilled in neurodevelopmental assessment and neuroaffirming practice
  • Manage your time and reporting with structure and care
  • Value collaboration and reflective practice
  • Are open, proactive, and bring warmth to your work
  • Love the mix of excellence, humour, and heart that defines our team
  • Have strong attention to detail including remembering to include in your application the answer to our secret question: If your family and friends could describe you in one emoji, what would it be?
Essential Criteria
  • Masters or Doctorate in Psychology (any relevant field)
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Medicare Provider Number
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in child and family work
  • Experience with cognitive, SLD, autism, and ADHD assessments
  • Competence in evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, Schema, EMDR)
  • Professional indemnity insurance
