Pathology Collector - Hospital Visits | Casual Position | Monday to Sunday | 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to drive to 2 hospitals and conduct pathology collection on the wards
  • Venepuncture experience essential at least 6 months unsupervised not including placement hours
  • Current and valid Driver's Licence as a car is supplied by the hospital for the daily run.
  • Collection of blood and other samples from patients
  • Processing of Pathology Specimens
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clerical duties and basic IT skills
  • High level communication skills with colleagues and patients
  • Ability to provide dedication to patient care
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Comply with Work Health and Safety

You must be:

  • Eligible to work within Australia - Sponsorship is not available
  • Possess a current NSW driver's licence, WWC Check & Police Clearance
  • Obtained a Cert 3 in Pathology Collection
  • Be a clear and patient communicator
  • Experience in blood collection
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Have a passion for Pathology Collection
  • Have a flexible approach to work
