What You Will Be Doing

As National Collections Capability Manager, you'll lead the design and delivery of a national education and training framework that builds a skilled, compliant, and customer-focused Pathology Collector workforce. In this role, you'll drive strategic capability development, oversee training governance and quality, and lead a high-performing team to deliver consistent, patient-centred learning experiences across Australia.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the strategic development and ongoing evolution of the Healius Academy as a national centre for learning and capability
  • Set direction for Pathology Collector training programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and workforce needs
  • Inspire and manage a high-performing team of 10+ direct reports, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Oversee the design and delivery of accessible, consistent training across a nationally dispersed workforce
  • Ensure training content and curriculum remain current, compliant and responsive to clinical and regulatory changes
  • Maintain governance of learning programs, SOPs and digital content, ensuring quality, consistency and audit-readiness
  • Monitor training effectiveness, compliance and risk using LMS analytics and quality assurance frameworks
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide insights through dashboards and reporting on workforce capability

To be successful in this role, you will be a dynamic and strategic leader with a passion for developing people and driving excellence through education. You combine deep knowledge of healthcare training and compliance with the ability to inspire teams, build strong stakeholder relationships, and deliver measurable workforce capability outcomes.

These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:

  • Ideally you will have +10 years of experience in Learning & Development, with a focus on leading national education programs

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - preferred

  • Expertise in the healthcare sector or related industries

  • A solid understanding of adult learning principles and data-enabled learning strategies.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement (from frontline workers to Senior Executives) and change management capabilities.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
