Are you looking to commence your carpentry apprenticeship? If you are interested in working in residential and commercial builds including new builds, then you may be the candidate for this role.

We are a builder based in Sydney's Inner West, with a focus on architecturally designed projects. We have multiple projects in the pipeline and we are seeking a motivated apprentice to join the team.

We are seeking a first year apprentice. Candidates must be willing to commence or already enrolled in a TAFE Carpentry course.

First year candidates with basic construction related experience or High school leavers that have an interest in construction are encouraged to apply.

It is essential to have a positive attitude, be interested in construction and be willing to learn.

The role is supported by a senior carpenter and third year apprentices, and overseen by a project manager that coordinates all projects.

The position is available on a full-time basis and available to commence immediately for the right candidate.

The right candidate is essential, and we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice who is interested in construction and is seeking to grow with the company on a long-term basis.

About the role

Duties include:

  • Learning and working in general building and carpentry work including structural carpentry/framing and detailed fit-out work, including formwork, extensions/additions, framing, new residential home builds and full fit-off.
  • Taking instructions from foreman and project manager.
  • Learning about architectural plans, construction drawings and scope of works.

  • Good communication skills

Requirements and qualifications

  • Enrolled in TAFE Carpentry course (or willing to enrol)
  • Completed Year 10 onwards
  • NSW Drivers licence and own vehicle - Essential
  • Permanent Australian Working Rights
  • White card (or willing to apply)
