Join Our Team – Apprentice Carpenter

LJW Building Co. is a bespoke residential builder working with architects across the Inner West & Northern Beaches. We're looking for a motivated apprentice carpenter who takes pride in quality work and wants to learn the high-end side of the trade.

What you'll do / learn

  • Set-out, framing, windows/doors, cladding & decking, and detailed fixout.
  • Reading plans/specs and working to tight tolerances.
  • Safe work practices, site housekeeping, and coordinating with other trades.
  • Occasional one-off hardwood/joinery pieces under supervision.

Must-haves

  • White Card, reliable transport (P-plates OK), good spoken English & punctuality.
  • Enrolled in TAFE (or willing to enrol) and committed to completing your apprenticeship.
  • Positive attitude, takes instruction well, and cares about a clean, safe site.

Nice-to-haves (not required)

  • Any prior site experience or a Cert II Pre-Apprenticeship.
  • Basic hand tools and PPE.
  • First Aid.
