Brand Manager/Marketing Specialist

An established Australian business in the health, fitness, and performance space is seeking a digitally led Marketing Specialist / Brand Manager to support both B2B and B2C divisions. The role oversees key digital channels, email marketing, paid media, and brand activity, with a strong focus on ownership, initiative, and hands-on execution.
This position suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and can independently lead digital and EDM programs. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to drive brand growth, improve customer engagement, and execute campaigns across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing
- Build, schedule, and optimise EDMs using segmentation, automation, and A/B testing.
- Improve deliverability, engagement, and conversion through data-led insights.
- Maintain and refine workflows within the email platform.
Digital & Paid Media
- Plan and execute digital and paid social campaigns across Meta, Google Ads and other emerging platforms.
- Manage targeting, budgeting, creative briefing, and analytics.
- Track performance metrics and report on results with a focus on continuous improvement.
Website & Digital Execution
- Maintain and update website content and product information.
- Monitor performance analytics and recommend enhancements to improve conversion.
- Deliver integrated digital campaigns across email, web, and social.
Brand Support & Activations
- Contribute to brand campaigns, events, sponsorship activity, and product launches.
- Assist with creative development and ensure brand alignment across channels.
- Support activations, pop-ups, trade events, and industry partnerships.
What Success Looks Like
- Proactive, curious and quick to pick things up.
- Shows initiative and can work autonomously in a stand-alone capacity.
- Comfortable owning digital and EDM functions with minimal guidance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new tools and approaches.
Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years in digital marketing, brand, or similar.
- Strong experience in EDM strategy, EDM builds, and copywriting.
- Proficiency in digital platforms: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Klaviyo or similar.
- Solid understanding of analytics and applying insights to optimise results.
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g. Shopify, WordPress).
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Graphic design skills are highly regarded.
Nice to Have
Passion for health, sport, or fitness.
Experience in e-commerce, consumer goods, or lifestyle brands.
Comfort working at events or activations as required (with additional compensation).
Interest in using AI tools and keeping up with digital trends.
