The successful candidate will be provided the opportunity to be mentored by experienced Partners, whilst working on complex employment matters, alongside a collaborative team and with significant direct client contact.
The role will see you working on a broad range of employment, discrimination and industrial relations matters, across a variety sectors including health, education, construction, manufacturing and finance. We provide advisory support for our clients in those sectors, and represent them when disputes are brought in Courts or industrial tribunal.

To Succeed In This Role You Will Ideally Have
- 2 - 4 years post admission legal experience working on employment and industrial relations matters.
- Experience in litigation in a variety of courts or tribunals (ideally the Fair Work Commission and the Federal Court of Australia, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, and the Supreme Court of Victoria).
- Strong drafting skills with specific ability to draft court documents and affidavits, alongside good knowledge of civil procedure.
- Good writing skills to provide concise and commercial advice to clients
- Knowledge of employment law and discrimination law obtained through either or both academic study or practical experience
- Capability to effectively manage your own time, work autonomously and at times working to tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A team player mentality, with a supportive and collaborative working style.
