Established over 23 years ago, SureSearch is a leader in utility locating, mapping and asset protection, providing underground solutions for a number of industries including, construction, civil and government.  Our dedicated team includes Allocators, Estimators, Project Managers, Surveyors, Draftspeople, Utility Locators, CCTV Technicians and Vac Truck Operators.

Due to our growth and strong project plans, SureSearch are adding to their team. We are seeking Utility Locators to join the crew based on the Central Coast in Tuggerah.  This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.  

You will be responsible for:

  • The location of underground utilities including telecommunications, electric, power, gas, water and sewer systems;
  • Reading and understanding Dial Before You Dig plans and aerial imagery to assist in identification of underground assets;
  • Completing and submitting mud maps, reports and other paperwork as required;
  • Ensuring clients are provided with appropriate referrals to the services that meet their needs; and
  • Provision of technical advice regarding underground services.

Experienced Utility Locator will have:

  • A Construction White Card;
  • Dial Before You Dig accreditation;
  • Thorough experience using pipe and cable locating instruments;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box;
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service;
  • A strong work ethic;
  • Willingness to learn new skills; and
  • A positive and professional attitude to work and safety.
