A high-growth international technology organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead group-wide financial operations across multiple global jurisdictions. This is a hands-on, strategically influential role within a lean, high-performing finance function, with significant scope to modernise systems, uplift controls, and drive operational excellence during a critical period of growth.

Operating across several international entities, you will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, governance, and efficient execution of core finance processes. This includes automation initiatives, reporting improvements, and establishing scalable frameworks to support continued expansion.

You will oversee core financial operations, mentor a small finance team, and provide insights that directly influence senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end financial control across multi-country operations
  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable, banking, cashflow, and internal controls
  • Manage month-end close, GL integrity, balance sheet reconciliations, and group consolidations
  • Coordinate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions with external tax advisors
  • Oversee intercompany transactions and support transfer pricing requirements
  • Ensure statutory audit readiness and support external audit processes
  • Drive systems implementation, automation, and process optimisation
  • Deliver accurate management and financial reporting to senior leaders

Key Requirements

  • CA or CPA qualification
  • 5+ years' experience as a Financial Controller or senior Finance Manager
  • Deep experience with payroll management and payroll compliance
  • Strong capability in multi-entity accounting, tax coordination and consolidations
  • Proven delivery of systems implementation and finance automation
  • Experience working in global, high-growth or complex environments
  • Excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills
  • Background in technology, SaaS or services environments (highly regarded)
