Garden Village is a premier aged care, community service and retirement living provider located in the coastal hub of Port Macquarie. Garden Village has supported our community for over 45 years and is recognised as an industry leader.

We are seeking a Part-time HR Recruitment Officer to manage all recruitment functions for Garden Village, working 2days per week at 5.5 hours - 9:00am to 3:00pm, Perfect for a parent between school hours. This person will deliver a strategic, dedicated approach to workforce planning and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for all roles across Garden Village
  • Design and implement effective recruitment strategies
  • Liaise with hiring managers to understand and fulfill staffing needs
  • Maintain a talent pipeline for ongoing and future workforce requirements
  • Drive employer branding and outreach strategies
  • Conduct research into innovative recruitment practices
  • Investigate and assess skilled worker sponsorship options for hard-to-fill roles
  • Monitor and report on recruitment performance metrics
  • Be involved in the onboarding process including phone screening and Interviews

  • Qualification and experience in HR Recruitment

  • Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and identify hiring trends and patterns
  • Experience in creating and executing data-informed recruitment strategies
  • Strong interviewing and assessment capabilities
  • Knowledge of HRIS platforms
