About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gate Installation Supervisor to join our team at Caboolture Automatic Gates'. As the Gate Installation Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of high-quality automated gates and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standard. This is a full-time role based in Caboolture, QLD 4510.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and supervise gate installers, fabricators, and site trades to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure the final product meets their expectations
  • Manage the logistical aspects of gate installations, including material procurement, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process
  • Provide training and guidance to the installation team to maintain high standards of workmanship
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to project progress and completion

What we're looking for

  • Experience as a Installation Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
  • Candidates with experience in Fabrication, Construction, Automotive or similar mechanical or electrical trade are encouraged to apply
  • Technical knowledge of automated gate systems, including their installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance on the job site
  • Proficient in project management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting
