Senior Bartender | Barwon Heads

An exciting opportunity exists to join a well-established and respected restaurant on the Bellarine Peninsula, located in the vibrant heart of Barwon Heads.

The Role

We're on the lookout for a senior all-round bartender with strong wine knowledge and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. This is a leadership opportunity for someone confident behind the bar, skilled in service, and ready to help shape the future direction of a busy, dynamic venue.

Part-time position available, with the potential to transition to full-time over the summer for the right candidate. You'll work closely with a supportive and experienced management team in a workplace that values culture, creativity, and professionalism.

What You'll Do

· Lead bar service with confidence and energy, especially during busy shifts

· Curate and maintain beverage lists, with a strong focus on cocktails

· Train and mentor junior staff to ensure high service standards

· Manage stock

· Work collaboratively with the broader team to deliver a cohesive and elevated guest experience

· Contribute ideas and improvements to evolve with our local community

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally bring:

· Extensive bar experience, with wine knowledge and cocktail skills

· Leadership experience, with a hands-on approach and ability to inspire others

· A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering exceptional service

· Organisational skills and strong attention to detail

· A team-focused mindset with the ability to work autonomously when needed

· A valid RSA

· Barista skills (a bonus, but not essential)
