Our Role

We are seeking an inspiring educator to join our team and make a meaningful impact on student learning in the field of Psychology, commencing in Term 1, 2026. This is a part-time position (0.6 FTE) with the potential to increase to fulltime, depending on your areas of teaching expertise. Within our Secondary School, you'll find a collaborative, dynamic, and forward-thinking team committed to bold expectations and exceptional outcomes for our students.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver outstanding teaching that supports strong student learning outcomes across a variety of ability levels
  • Plan and execute learning programs that challenge all students, and effectively use technology to enhance learning
  • Possess a thorough understanding of contemporary learning approaches and demonstrate the ability to critically reflect on and improve teaching practices
  • Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents, fostering an environment conducive to learning and enthusiasm
  • Engage with passion in all areas of Kingswood College life
  • Uphold the values and vision of Kingswood College, contributing positively to our community

Successful applicants will:

  • Hold Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
  • Be suitably qualified in your teaching method or methods
  • Have the ability to teach Year 11 and 12 Psychology essential
  • Hold English/Humanities teaching experience (desirable)
  • Be passionate about working with children and developing their learning and social skills
  • Have strong organisational and planning skills, with an ability to manage multiple demands and timelines.
  • Be collaborative and team focused with a growth mindset
