We are engaged on a number of high-profile projects throughout the country and we are seeking a skilled estimator to join our dynamic team

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a tenacious and energetic Scaffold Estimator to join our team in Perth, WA. Reporting to the Scaffold Manager you will be providing Estimating support and services nationally across industries including oil and gas, mining, and civil construction.

As an estimator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects and business growth. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing high level tender submissions
  • Estimating scaffold requirements in all sectors of construction
  • Meeting tender deadlines
  • Engaging with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the best value and outcomes
  • Collaborating with project managers, business development, and operational teams
  • Reviewing tender documents and specifications to identify key project requirements
  • Communicate with our engineering division to prepare pre-tender drawings
  • Managing and updating estimating software and maintaining detailed records

ABOUT YOU

The right candidate will have:

  • Proven industry experience in scaffolding (essential) and formal commercial qualification (highly desirable)
  • Minimum 2 years proven experience as an estimator
  • Strong understanding of cost estimation processes, tendering, and project management
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of and the ability to use a variety of software packages including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Navis Works, Revit, Auto-Cad, etc.. (Auto-Cad is preferable but not essential, however it is essential that the candidate is willing to upskill in this area to attain a suitable level of design proficiency in the short term)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • The ability to work efficiently
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • The ability to follow deadlines
  • A valid driver's license
