Job DescriptionDue to ongoing growth and some exciting project wins, AECOM is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Sydney office.
You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from a strong team of geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists, of all levels.
How you'll make a difference:
- Completing desk studies, planning, and delivering ground investigations and preparing associated factual and interpretive reporting
- Providing a strong competency in ground characterisation, geotechnical parameter assessment and high-quality reporting
- Assisting in the preparation of bids and proposals and attending meetings with contractors and clients, both external and internal
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers and facilitating opportunities that build team competency

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated competency in scoping, planning, and managing geotechnical investigations
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office, Sequent and Rocscience specialist software
