Your new role as an Experienced AIN or an Undergraduate Nurse

Due to ongoing growth, we have PPT and casual opportunities for highly motivated Assistant in Nursing or Undergrad Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join our friendly and supportive team across various areas including Medical, Surgical, Paeds and Rehabilitation Services.

Essential Criteria:

  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.

  • Currently undergoing Bachelor of Nursing, with minimum of 1st year completed.

  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge and practice experience.

  • Ability to work shift work and overtime as required (includes night duty)

  • A commitment to patient-centred care and customer service.

  • Ongoing commitment to professional development and quality improvement

  • A team player with a positive attitude and an adaptable approach to problem solving and decision making.

  • Organisational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities and meet critical timeframes.

  • Permanent rights to work in Australia (no Visa sponsorship opportunities are available on this occasion)

  • Strong collaborative interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

  • Immunisation evidence and serology report in accordance with NSW Health.

Desirable attributes:

  • Certificate III or IV in Health Services Assistance

  • Previous experience working in an acute care environment.

  • Surgical experience

  • Familiarity with desktop applications, including WebPAS highly regarded

  • Understanding of Private Hospital landscape.

  • An understanding of NSQHS and ability to apply to clinical care.
