Job Title: Part-Time Permanent Disability Support Worker – Meaningful and Flexible Role

We are currently recruiting experienced and caring Part-Time Permanent Disability Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in participants' homes and the wider community. This role is ideal for someone looking for consistent hours and long-term employment while contributing positively to people's lives.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting participants with daily living tasks, personal care, and community participation. You will work under an individualized care plan and within a collaborative team environment to help clients maintain independence and achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care including showering, toileting, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with household duties such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
  • Support participants in accessing the community (appointments, shopping, social and recreational activities)
  • Promote independence and individual choice in daily activities
  • Work regular part-time hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends as per a set roster
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and follow NDIS requirements

Selection Criteria

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in disability, aged care, or community health (essential)
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, Aged Care or equivalent
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • National Police Check (within 12 months)
  • Valid Working with Children Check (if applicable)
  • Current driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle
  • COVID-19 vaccination (as per health regulations)
