Bupa Aged Care are growing our regional workforce and are seeking compassionate and experienced Carers, to join the wider care team at our Waratah care home.

**MUST have good availability to work AM and PM shifts.**

As a Carer, you will perform a variety of important duties within the care home, ensuring that the needs of our residents and the facility as a whole, are met.

You’ll join a supportive, collaborative, and caring team to make a positive impact to the lives of our residents with your compassionate and supportive approach. You’ll deliver the highest quality person-first care to residents in line with their individual care plan.

**About the Care Home**

Bupa Waratah is a modern care home set in the quiet residential suburb of Waratah, Newcastle. You will be close to the local community with Waratah village shopping centre, parks including Blackbutt reserve, Newcastle Harbour and local beaches. It consists of 109 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

**About You**
- Minimum of a Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualifications
- Previous aged care experience highly regarded, but not essential
- Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
- National Police Check and Australian Working Rights
- **Please note: All applicants must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical, a police clearance, and an NDIS worker's clearance._
