Registered Psychologist (Child & Family Focus) – Part Time Employee or Contractor

Days:

Rise Up Psychological Services is looking for a 
warm, skilled Registered Psychologist
 to join our growing team. This role can be structured as 
part-time employee or contractor
, offering flexibility and autonomy.

We are a psychology practice based in Bardwell Park working with child, adolescent, family, and adult clients with diverse presentations. Our newly renovated, child-friendly office is welcoming, safe, and conveniently located near cafés, shops, transport, post office, and parking.

· Development and attachment informed interventions

Your Role:

You will provide assessments and therapy for children, families and adults, including support for:

· Child assessments (Cognitive, Autism, Trauma, ADHD and other neurodiversity)

· Behavioural and emotional dysregulation

· Anxiety and depression

· Feeling overwhelmed by life changes

· Sleep issues and fatigue

· Grief and Bereavement

· Self-harm and suicidal thoughts

· Relationship challenges

· Trauma and adjustment difficulties

You will have the freedom to shape your caseload around your strengths and interests.

We are Looking For:

· Fully AHPRA-registered psychologists with experience in child and family work

· Skilled in autism, cognitive and ADHD assessments (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R, WISC-V, Conners-4)

· ABN, WWCC, Police Check, Medicare eligibility, and professional indemnity insurance

· Report writing experience

Nice-to-Have / Willing to Train:

· Cool Kids Anxiety Program

· EMDR, Schema Therapy, TFCBT

· Circle of Security, PCIT, Tuning into Kids/Teens

· Zones of Regulation, Social Thinking

· Family systems and trauma-informed approaches

· Specialist endorsement (Clinical, Neuro Psychology, Educational & Developmental or Forensic)
