Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered support aligned with NDIS goals
  • Assist with personal care, hygiene, and mobility tasks
  • Prepare meals and support with feeding as needed
  • Perform domestic duties like cleaning and laundry
  • Transport clients safely to appointments and activities
  • Encourage social inclusion and emotional wellbeing
  • Observe and report changes in client health or behavior
  • Follow support plans and document shift notes accurately
  • Maintain professional boundaries and respect client dignity
  • Use mobile apps to record notes and communicate with the team

Key Attributes & Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with diverse clients
  • Ability to follow support plans and work independently
  • Experience in disability, aged care, or mental health support is preferred
  • Current Driver's License and reliable vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred
  • Basic digital literacy—able to use mobile apps for notes and communication
  • Commitment to inclusion, dignity, and professional boundaries
