Regular travel will be required in this role.This role will see you providing high voltage (HV) testing services and expert technical advice to AusNet and external customers pertaining to commissioning, condition assessment and diagnostic testing of primary electrical plants.This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:Assist HV Testing Engineers with on-site HV testing of primary assets consisting of: Power Transformers; Cables; Generators and Motors, Instrument Transformers, SwitchgearsDay-to-day workload planning of testing team to ensure test equipment and personnel are used efficiently to maximise testing throughput and service levelsAssist in developing, maintaining, and improving testing processes, procedures and methodologies and ensuring they meet the requirements of various accreditationsStrong focus in maintaining all HSEQ requirements for HV Testing teamIdentifying risks and assist in forming contingency plansYou don't need to tick every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering and related field-testing experience, highly preferredTechnical expertise in HV testingCommunication and collaboration skills across business, supplier and partners spread across a broad geographyFactory testing experience is advantageousLicense requirements: Australian driving licenceA real place to belong.We celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives and diversity in our team.
